We’re excited to share that the Board of Directors, in the June 2025 meeting, voted to move forward with a community-wide tree replacement project. After reviewing multiple proposals, the Board approved the bid from Allegiant to remove seven aging olive trees and replace them with new, drought-tolerant trees.
Project Details
Earlier this year, we invited eight landscaping vendors to submit bids for this project, and four responded. All agreed with the Board’s selection of new tree species due to their low water requirements and overall suitability for our desert climate.
Interestingly, each vendor also recommended that we proceed with planting during the summer months. While it might seem counterintuitive, this timing allows the new trees to benefit from the heavier watering schedule already in place for summer and gives them a strong start before cooler weather arrives.
Final preparations are being made with a few small adjustments, and work is expected to begin very soon.
More Community Landscaping Updates
In addition to the tree project:
- Palm trees will be trimmed this month to keep them healthy and looking their best.
- Dirt will be added to level uneven areas around the community for improved safety and appearance.
- The watering schedule will move to 4 times per week to keep up with the summer heat.
We appreciate your continued support and attention to our shared spaces. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our neighborhood looking beautiful and well-maintained.
Thank you for helping us make the community shine!
